Woman Arrested by ICE on a Denver Airport Jetway Released From Aurora Detention

Chantal Alejandra Morales Rojas, a 27-year-old Ecuadorian woman living in Oakland, was arrested by ICE agents on July 20 as she attempted to board a Southwest flight from Denver to California. Cellphone video of agents removing her from the jetway spread widely online. An immigration judge granted her a $3,000 bond, and she was released from the GEO-run Aurora detention facility while her immigration case and a federal habeas corpus petition proceed.
