U.S. Cites ‘Unauthorized Travel’ to End DACA Status for a Mother of Three Deported to Mexico

Jessica Treviño, a Texas mother of three who had held legal permission to remain in the U.S. since age 8, was deported to Mexico in March 2026 despite a clean criminal record. She has sued the federal government after being notified it would terminate her DACA status over “unauthorized travel.”
