Report: Nearly Two-Thirds of Criminal Cases Against ICE and CBP Agents Involved Children
A report from the Ohio Immigrant Alliance, “They Walk Among Us,” documents 59 ICE and Border Patrol agents charged with sexual or violent crimes, finding 85% involved sex offenses and nearly two-thirds targeted children. Cases include a 20-year Border Patrol agent convicted as a serial rapist and another convicted of murdering women he had paid for sex. The report follows renewed scrutiny of agent vetting after ICE officer David Brouillette’s fatal shooting of a Colombian man in Maine.
