A Man Died in a Mississippi ICE Facility. Do We Know Everything We Need to Know?

Delvin Francisco Rodriguez, 39, died in ICE custody at the Adams County Correctional Center in Natchez, Mississippi after attempting suicide in his cell. Staff found him and attempted to revive him before transferring him to Merit Health hospital, but Rodriguez never regained consciousness and his family agreed to remove life support approximately 10 days later. His death was ruled a homicide.
