ICE Agents Stationed at NYC-Area Airports

ICE agents in tactical gear were stationed at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark Liberty airports on March 23, ostensibly to assist TSA with delays during the partial government shutdown. Witnesses reported roughly a dozen officers near security checkpoints, though TSA union president Hydrick Thomas said the agents were "largely unhelpful."
