Detainee Speaks Out as Hunger Strike Continues at Michigan’s Largest ICE Detention Center

Immigrants detained at the North Lake Processing Center — a privately operated ICE facility in Baldwin and the state’s largest — continued a hunger strike Wednesday, with the advocacy group No Detention Centers in Michigan saying detainees are protesting alleged medical neglect, unsafe conditions, and prolonged legal delays.
