Dallas Line Cook Detained by ICE, Deported to Taiwan After 133 Days
Petey Feng, a well-known line cook who worked at high-profile Dallas restaurants including Monarch, FT-33, and Quarter Acre, spent 133 days in ICE detention after being arrested at a routine immigration check-in in November 2025. A judge denied his request for voluntary departure and he was deported to Taiwan, barring him from reapplying for a visa.
