ACLU Report: ICE Is “Too Broken to Be Fixed,” Calls for Replacement Agency
A new ACLU report by Naureen Shah and Denise Bell documents roughly 1,200 immigration enforcement incidents across eight states — including racial profiling, excessive use of force, and targeting of people engaged in First Amendment activity — and argues ICE is too broken to be reformed, calling instead for it to be replaced with a new agency.
