Supreme Court Lets Trump Administration Resume Third-Country Deportations, for Now
The Supreme Court stayed a lower-court order by U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy, allowing deportations to countries not named in removal orders to resume while the case continues. The three liberal justices objected, and the court will hear full argument in December. Plaintiffs allege that removed class members have faced beatings, sexual assault and disappearance.
