More than 300 people detained at Delaney Hall, the GEO Group-operated immigration facility in Newark, have been on a labor and hunger strike since May 22, 2026, citing medical neglect, lack of sanitation, spoiled food, denial of bond, and coercion to sign legal documents that result in deportation.
