ICE Sends a Second Deportation Flight to Haiti in a Week, With U.S.-Born Children Aboard
ICE Air charter flight GXA6196 departed Opa-locka Executive Airport at 10:04 a.m. carrying 57 people to Cap-Haitien, the second deportation flight to Haiti in a week. The youngest person aboard was a 1-year-old born in the United States, according to information shared with Haitian authorities before the plane landed. One child's parents told the Miami Herald it was “scandalous” that children born in the United States were being forced to go to Haiti.
