ICE's Summer Surge Was Driven by People With No Criminal History
ICE arrested roughly 49,138 people in July 2026, and more than half of them had no criminal history whatsoever. The figures come from the Deportation Data Project, which obtained internal ICE detention management data the agency has not released publicly.
