ICE Releases San Francisco Lawmaker’s Staffer Ho Yin Mo After Weeks in Detention
Ho Yin Mo, a field representative for Assemblymember Catherine Stefani, was released on October 2 after more than two weeks in ICE detention. He was detained September 17 at Harry Reid International Airport and held in Pahrump, Nevada; DHS says he entered legally in 2020 and overstayed. San Francisco’s mayor and all 11 supervisors urged his release, and the circumstances of the release were not announced.
