Hong Kong-Born Staffer for California Assemblymember Detained by ICE at Las Vegas Airport

Ho Yin Mo, a field representative for Assemblymember Catherine Stefani and a former KTSF reporter, was arrested by ICE at Harry Reid International Airport and is held at a Nevada immigration detention center. Stefani called for his release, saying he is legally employed with work authorization. DHS says he entered on a temporary basis in 2020, overstayed, and was arrested in a targeted operation.
