GEO Group Employee Arrested, Accused of Shooting Protester Outside Aurora ICE Center
Brandon Booth, 42, an off-duty employee of The GEO Group — the private-prison company that operates the ICE detention center in Aurora — was arrested on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault after a woman was shot outside the facility on Thursday night, Aurora police said. The shooting followed a protest outside the GEO-operated center.
