Empty Colorado Prison to Become New ICE Detention Center — Hudson, CO

The GEO Group announced that the dormant, privately owned Big Horn Correctional Facility in Hudson will become Colorado’s second ICE detention center. ICE officials have eyed the site to expand the state’s immigrant detention capacity beyond the Aurora facility, which GEO also operates.
