Cubans, Many in the US for Decades, Deported to Mexico
The Trump administration has deported more than 4,300 Cubans to Mexico, many of them older people with serious health conditions who had lived in the United States for years or even decades. Human Rights Watch reports that many were left stranded in Mexican border cities — some gathering outside a hospital in Villahermosa — without medical care, family, or a path back to the lives they built in the US.
