Alabama Department of Corrections Signs Enforcement Contract With ICE
The Alabama Department of Corrections signed an agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in July to help the federal agency identify and process immigrants with pending or active criminal charges, the Alabama Reflector reported. The agreement surfaced in an ICE spreadsheet of law enforcement agencies participating in the 287(g) local immigration enforcement program, updated the week before publication.
