25 Babies and Toddlers Are in ICE Custody on an Average Day
ICE holds 25 children aged three or younger in custody on an average day, and at least 500 babies and toddlers have been detained since the start of the Trump administration, according to a Marshall Project analysis of ICE data. Parents described young children in detention who stopped eating, began hitting themselves and became ill.
